1. Introduction

Rebook Engine ("we," "us," "our") provides an SMS follow-up automation platform for barbershops. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information from our users (barbers/shop owners) and the end consumers who receive SMS messages through our platform.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account data: Email address, hashed password (managed by Supabase Auth).
  • Client data: First name, last name, phone number, service type, visit history, follow-up cadence preferences — entered by you, the barber.
  • Message & delivery data: SMS message bodies, Twilio message SIDs, delivery status, send timestamps.
  • Payment data: Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, feature usage (collected via standard server logs).

3. How We Use Information

  • To send automated and manual SMS follow-ups on your behalf.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To improve our platform and provide customer support.
  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., Twilio / TCPA requirements).

4. SMS Consent & Data Handling

We respect your privacy and the privacy of your clients. We collect phone numbers and consent data strictly to facilitate the SMS services requested by our users. Rebook Engine acts as a technology provider; the barber is the message sender for TCPA purposes and is responsible for obtaining initial consent. We do not use this data for any purpose other than delivering the requested messages and maintaining platform functionality.

No mobile information, including opt-in data and consent, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. SMS Messaging Terms

The following terms apply to SMS messages sent through the Rebook Engine platform (program name: Rebook Engine Appointment Reminders):

  • Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity; up to 16 messages per month.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of messages at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
  • Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at support@rebookengine.net.
  • Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We share data only with essential service providers to operate our platform:

  • Twilio: To deliver SMS messages.
  • Stripe: To process subscription payments.
  • Supabase: To host our database and authentication.
  • Vercel: To host our application.

A2P 10DLC Compliance Disclosure: We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

7. Data Retention

We retain client data and message logs for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security in our database, and hashed credentials. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Your Rights

You may request to:

  • Access or export your data.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
