1. How Clients Opt In to Receive SMS
Clients of barbershops and service-based businesses using Rebook Engine may receive automated SMS messages including appointment reminders, rebooking prompts, and waitlist notifications. Clients opt in to receive these messages through one or more of the following methods:
- Online booking or intake form: The client provides their mobile phone number and checks an explicit consent checkbox agreeing to receive SMS messages from the barbershop, sent via Rebook Engine.
- In-shop intake: The client provides their phone number on a physical or digital intake form that includes clear SMS consent language indicating messages are sent via Rebook Engine.
- Keyword opt-in: The client texts START to the barbershop's messaging number, powered by Rebook Engine, to opt in.
2. What Messages Will Clients Receive?
- Appointment reminders (e.g., 24-hour and 2-hour reminders before scheduled visits).
- Rebooking follow-ups (e.g., reminders to schedule their next visit).
- Waitlist notifications (e.g., alerts when a preferred time slot opens up).
Note: Clients or barbers can choose their preferred reminder frequency: weekly, every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, every 4 weeks, every 5 weeks, or every 6 weeks.
3. Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity; up to 16 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Contact your wireless carrier for details regarding your specific text messaging plan.
4. Opt-Out Instructions
To opt out: Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
You may opt back in at any time by replying START.
5. Help Instructions
For help: Reply HELP to any message or contact support@rebookengine.net.
6. Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Data Sharing
No mobile information, including opt-in data and consent, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
